FESTIVAL WEEKEND | JUNE 25 & 26

Join us on Saturday, June 25th and Sunday, June 26th for a weekend full of fun activities, music, demonstrations, workshops and interactive experiences. Admission is free but pre-registration for timed entry is required.

Gates Open: Saturday & Sunday – 9:30 AM
Gates Close: Saturday – 9 PM | Sunday – 6 PM (last shuttles depart the farm at these times)

Onsite Parking is extremely limited and street parking on West Hunt Club Road is not permitted. We highly encourage using our park & ride shuttle service or be dropped off at the site. 

A limited number of daily parking passes can be purchased in advance when you register for $20. Pass must be printed and displayed on the dashboard when the vehicle is parked in the lot.

Pow Wow Pitch is a pitch competition for Indigenous entrepreneurs across Turtle Island to shine the spotlight on pow wow vendors, artists, business builders and innovators from all backgrounds and industries, whether just starting or looking to grow to the next level.

11:00AM | INUIT THROAT SINGING & GAMES
Traditional Inuit throat singing is a game or competition usually done with two women. There is a leader and a follower, the leader sets the rhythm, the pace and the sound, and the follower repeats the sound.

1:00PM | POW WOW PITCH – ANNOUNCEMENT OF TOP 10
Find out who made it past the first round of Pow Wow Pitch! The Top 10 are paired with mentors to prepare for the Final Pitch.

1:15PM | DERRIC STARLIGHT (PUPPETEER & COMEDIAN) DerRic is from the Tsuu Tina First Nation near Calgary, Alberta. At a young age, DerRic began learning muppet voices, and by his teens, had perfected well over two hundred. He now has a cast of over 350 voices, a cast of Puppet Characters, and a genuine knack for comedy.

2:00PM | DALLAS ARCAND (WORLD CHAMPION HOOP DANCER)
Dallas is a three-time World Champion Hoop Dancer from the Alexander (Kipohtakaw) Plains Cree Nation.

Guests are treated to memorable moments, as this interactive event offers a “hands-on” experience with amazing reptiles for enthusiasts. Learn about the ecosystem, balances in nature, roles of wildlife and ancient dinosaur history all in one event.

ALGONQUIN COLLEGE: 
Park & Ride Shuttle Service runs from Algonquin College to Mādahòkì Farm with free parking. Park at the designated spaces
 or come by bus to Baseline station to catch the shuttle.

June 25 | Pick up & return every 30 minutes from 9:30am to 10pm
June 26 | Pick up & return every 30 minutes from 9:30am to 6pm

 
 

ODAWA NATIVE FRIENDSHIP CENTRE: 

Park & Ride Shuttle Service runs from the Odawa Native Friendship Centre to Mādahòkì Farm with limited free parking available. You can also come to the Odawa Native Friendship Centre by public transport and take the shuttle to Mādahòkì Farm.

Shuttle Schedule:
