Unleash your child’s creativity and cultural curiosity at our Dreamcatcher Workshop! Join us for an immersive experience where kids will learn the art of crafting their very own dreamcatcher, while discovering rich teachings of Indigenous cultures, such as the 7 Grandfather Teachings. Spark their imagination, foster new skills, and create cherished memories together.
Recommended for ages 6+. Parents may join the workshop to help the child or purchase an additional ticket to make their own dreamcatcher as well.
This workshop takes place at 1 Elgin St, in the National Arts Centre’s Atelier Shenkman Smith which is located across from the Box Office.

Ashley Katonhetsheri:io Clark, a proud member of the Wahta Mohawk’s Bear Clan, seamlessly melds her Kingston roots with the academic prowess she honed at Carleton University, where she specialized in International Business and Indigenous Studies. Drawing inspiration from Muskoka’s natural wonders and backed by her rich educational background, Ashley birthed Bougie Birch amidst personal and global challenges. As you join her Dreamcatcher Workshop at the National Arts Centre, expect a harmonious blend of tradition, artistry, and scholarly insight, all curated to offer a deeply enriching experience.
