June 22nd & 23rd


We are excited to welcome registered teachers, students and home school groups back to Mādahòkì Farm June 22 & 23, 2023 for FREE Indigenous Programming during Education Days presented by BMO Financial Group.

To ensure an enjoyable day for all bus arrivals and departures are being closely managed. Prior to registering schools must book their busses for arrival and departure during one of the following two time slots: On Education Days, busses will have access to the Farm during these designated times only.

  • EARLY (where the bus can only be onsite to drop off from 9:00-9:45am / and pick up 12:45-1:30pm)
  • LATER (where the bus can only be onsite to drop off 9:45-10:30am / pick up 1:30-2:15pm)
Pow Wow Performances

Watch an authentic 90 minute long Pow Wow demonstration featuring a Grand Entry, Drums, Dancers, and World Champion Hoop Dancer Scott Sinquah.

Hank Rowlinson teaches about traditional Métis games, played for generations, in this interactive demonstration.

Ojibwe Spirit Horse Colouring & Stories

Drop in to colour some amazing artwork of the native ponies by Métis artist Rhonda Snow in a giant colouring mural. Enjoy storytelling with Rhonda hourly.
