Try your hand at some traditional Metis Games like Hatchet Throwing & Archery. All ages.

Ojibwe Spirit Horses

Meet some of the rare and endangered Ojbiwe Spirit Horses – Canada’s only Indigenous horse breed.

Farm Play

Come have fun at our farm play area with hay bales, climbers, teeter totter, and a corn play station.

EAL Experiences with Rhonda Snow & the Ojibwe Spirit Horses

Join Rhonda Snow for an interactive EAL experience with the Ojibwe spirit ponies.  Rhonda is not only a certified EAL facilitator, but a knowledge keeper and renowned artist bringing the stories of this rare and endangered breed of pony to life. During this experience, you will learn about the powerful stallion “Tony the Rainy Lake Pony” who lived on the island and in the bush for 40 plus years.  Come and learn what it was like for these ponies long ago and share a story of resilience as you travel the “trail” together with your pony and imagine what it felt like to fight off wolves and listen to the loons and learn when all things wild are connected.   

Must pre-register.  Minimum age is 6 and waivers required to handle horses. 

1 hour experience: 
10:30 AM and 4 PM

$20 per person.  Max 15 per session.

Meet our resident goats, sheeps, bunnies and pigs. Including some spring babies!

Birds of Prey Demonstration with Canadian Raptor Conservatory​

Watch hawks, eagles and owls take flight and soar over your head with demonstrations. 2 PM and 5 PM.

Legacy Trail and Reconciliation Rocks

Capture your message of reconciliation on an orange rock to place on the Legacy Trail. Walk the trail to learn more about 7 Grandfather Teachings & Algonquin Animal Names. Hunt for treasures on the trail with Geocaching.

Jed the Mechanical Bull

Fun and safe for all ages. Test your stamina on Ottawa’s only mechanical bull

Rock Climbing

Our mobile climbing walls are 24ft in height, offer 4 climbing routes and have both manual and auto-belay options. All ages, 40 pound minimum. Our professional staff will make sure that every climber gets some instruction before climbing up the wall. No experience is necessary!

Paddle Boats

Age Group: 3 years and up. Must be minimum of 36″ in height.
