[Important Announcement] Saturday, June 22nd: Due to inclement weather the Drone Show has been cancelled and the Pow Wow has been moved to the Riding Arena. There is very limited space for spectators at the Pow Wow.

Shuttles to and from Algonquin College run until 11 PM
You will be amazed as 250 drones light up the sky over Madahoki Farm to tell the story and teachings of the Seven Grandfathers. With this incredible immersive storytelling experience, you will watch canoes paddle, bison walk and eagles soar over the skyline while you learn more about one of the most common Indigenous teachings – the Seven Grandfathers from the Algonquin perspective. Sure to be the highlight of the Summer Solstice Festival and brought to you by Indigenous Tourism Ontario.
AND DON’T MISS THE DJ & GLOW IN THE DARK HOOP DANCE AT 9:30 PM
As the sun sets, enjoy a collaborative performance by siblings Makhena and Caleb. Caleb is a grass dancer, music producer and DJ. Makhena is a life long Pow Wow dancer and 7 year hoop dancer.
